A cut-edge conveyor belt is a fabric belt with cut edges. The enquiry still needs the complete carcass and cover specification, as the edge description does not define the whole belt. Explain the conveyed material and the conditions at the belt edges, particularly when replacing a belt that has shown edge damage.

What to confirm before ordering

Provide the finished width, required length, ply construction and cover thickness. Include photographs of the current belt and its edge condition where useful. State the material being carried and any requirements already recorded in the equipment specification. Confirm the proposed construction and finished width together before ordering, with any differences from the existing belt clearly identified in the quotation.
