Application and selection guidance

An NN nylon conveyor belt uses a nylon fabric carcass. It is a selection option when the conveyor specification calls for this construction. A replacement request should identify the current belt and the loading arrangement, including whether material arrives continuously or at a concentrated transfer point.

What to confirm before ordering

Confirm the required tensile specification, ply arrangement and the pulleys the belt will pass around. A belt with the correct width may still need a different construction for the actual tension and loading conditions. Supply the conveyor drawing or existing belt identification where available, and ask for the proposed construction to be stated in the quotation.
