Application and selection guidance

A motorized pulley combines the drum and drive functions in one component. It can be reviewed where the conveyor design calls for an integrated drum drive or where an existing motorized pulley needs replacement. Provide a view of the complete installation so that the mounting, belt route and electrical connection can be considered together.

What to confirm before ordering

Specify drum diameter and length, required belt speed, load information and electrical supply. For a replacement, include the original nameplate and a drawing of the support and shaft interfaces. Explain the operating environment and any surface requirement. The proposed unit should be checked against the conveyor duty and available installation space before the quotation is accepted.
